Description
Suggestion gourmande
Faux-filet de boeuf, sauce bordelaise.
Avis des Experts
The Wine Advocate
"The 2015 Manyetes Vi de Vila Gratallops, a village Cariñena, is produced with grapes from old vines from a zone in Gratallops where the grape thrives (though the village is better known for Garnacha). It fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in 300-liter barriques and 2,000-liter foudres for 18 months. Starting with the 2011 vintage, this wine is made with only Cariñena, which comes from a single vineyard that they recently purchased after 15 years of leasing it. And they even bought an additional hectare that they didn't work before, so they will be able to grow a little bit more after 2018. This is always a very fresh wine from a very warm place. It has some graphite and wet slate notes with a marked personality early on. The first Cariñena grapes were picked the first week of September. 4,700 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2017."
