Description
Château d’Aiguilhe rejoint la grande, et longue, histoire de la famille Von Neipperg en 1998. C’est le Comte Stephan von Neipperg, accompagné par des équipes techniques et conseillé par Stéphane Derenencourt qui voit la force du domaine. Un travail minutieux et une démarche respectueuse de l’environnement et voilà que l’appellation Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux trouve ses titres de noblesse !
Le premier nez offre un bouquet mûr et intense avec des baies noirs, des épices comme le poivre et une touche de cacao menthé. Belle précision aromatique, le milieu de bouche est sensationnel porté par des tannins veloutés qui confèrent au vin un impression de crémeux. Racée, la finale se distingue par sa persistante.

Carré d'agneau, sauce au vin rouge, légumes croquants.

"The 2015 Chateau d'Aiguilhe is a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc picked between September 23 and October 8 at 30 hectoliters per hectare and matured in 30% new oak barrels. It has a very ripe and opulent quite showing bouquet with fig and date-tinged red berry fruit. The palate is very well balanced a supple ball of red cherry and strawberry fruit with a touch of Christmas cake and allspice towards the finish; the Cabernet Franc imparts a little edginess with a saline tincture lingering on the aftertaste. This is a very fine Côtes de Castillon from Comtes Von Neipperg. " -Neal Martin
